Penistone and Barnsley
Penistone is close to my base in Ingbirchworth. My Barnsley-side list includes Silkstone, Cawthorne, Dodworth, Darton and Worsbrough. I take on garden projects and household repairs across this part of my patch. Include the village or postcode when you get in touch so I know where the work is.

Holmfirth and Denby Dale
I cover Holmfirth, Honley and Meltham, along with Denby Dale, Shepley, Scissett and Skelmanthorpe. Tell me about access as well as the work itself. Steps, a narrow passage or materials that need carrying through the house all help describe the practical side of a garden job.
A deck rebuild, new fence or relaid patio can involve work underneath the finished surface. My decking page and paving page show those stages. You can also ask about smaller joinery and household tasks if the outdoor work is only part of your list.
Stocksbridge and the edge of Sheffield
Stocksbridge, Deepcar, Oughtibridge, Chapeltown, High Green and Ecclesfield are the places I list on the northern side of Sheffield. I cover them from Ingbirchworth. I do not have a Sheffield office or yard. If your home is elsewhere in the city, check with me rather than assuming the whole city is in my usual area.

Huddersfield, Emley, Kirkburton, Flockton, Horbury and Ossett are on my wider area list. I take on the same range of repairs and garden work across my patch. The location and scope help me decide whether I can take on a particular job, so please include both in your enquiry. You can group several household repairs into one message. Add photographs of each item so we can discuss the list before arranging a visit.
You can ask about fences, decks, patios, brickwork, joinery, gardening or roof and gutter repairs. If you are describing a roof problem, tell me what you can see safely from the ground. There is no need to climb up for a closer photograph.
